Paolo Cortés
At 13, I started my first business selling dehydrated apple chips in Mexico. Since then, I haven't stopped building — from co-founding an iced tea brand in India to running an e-commerce store out of Dubai.
About Me
I want to create impactful businesses that add value to this world. I've been an entrepreneur since age 13, and every venture I take is a chance to learn, lead, and create something meaningful. I believe that the best way you learn is by doing — whether that's launching a snack brand, organizing wellness events for my school, or working with an international team. I work with discipline, adaptability, and a global mindset shaped by growing up immersed in different cultures and speaking 8 languages.
It's worth noting that I don't have formal certifications for my languages — I grew up with many of them since childhood at different proficiency levels, though I haven't practiced some in a while. What drives me is the practical experience of using these languages to build relationships, understand different markets, and lead diverse teams.

Ventures
Buss Tea
A focus-driven iced tea brand currently operating in Gurgaon and Delhi, India, with ambitions to grow. I oversee all financial operations: cash flow tracking, P&L, revenue tracking, and constant financial monitoring. We drove revenue through multiple pop-up events and mela activations with consistent sell-through. The team is international and we all attend the same college in India this term.

Crunch'n Crisp
I started a dehydrated fruit chip business when I was just 13 — dehydrated apple chips and pineapple chips with tajin, a popular Mexican spice, plus a plain option with no added spices. I managed everything from production to selling, with help on marketing. Distributed across 6 stores within 3 months, expanded through referrals and repeat buyers. Approximately $20,000 USD in cumulative sales, all offline. Currently on pause while abroad.

Wellness Dropshipping Store
While studying a semester in Dubai, I built this with a group of people from 5 different countries. Sold portable massagers and ergonomic comfort products in the USA, Australia, Canada, and UK — the big 4 markets. Led product research, supplier vetting, and pricing strategy.

Experience
Wilderness Canoe Expeditions
20-day wilderness canoe trips — paddling, portaging (carrying the canoe between waterways), camping with no technology. Built resilience, leadership, and deep respect for nature. These trips shaped my character and taught me to push through discomfort — lessons I carry into everything I do.

Bhealthy Student Council
A student council focused on promoting physical, mental, and social health. Organized events: hikes for students, a table tennis tournament, a mental health awareness walk, and a wellness-focused school event. These initiatives brought students together and promoted a culture of well-being.

CRS — Consejo de Responsabilidad Social
Student government council focused on social responsibility. Organized donations for school employees and community members, and helped plan events centered on giving back and social awareness.

Leadership Certificate
LIFE (Leadership and Student Formation) recognition awarded for commitment to initiative, community engagement, and personal development.
